Job Position: Quality Assurance Officer
Location: Warri, Delta

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to ensure our healthcare services meet the highest standards of excellence and compliance.

The Quality Assurance Officer will develop, implement, and monitor quality management processes, ensuring continuous improvement across all hospital operations.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in line with industry standards.
  2. Ensure hospital operations comply with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organisational policies.
  3. Conduct regular audits and inspections of clinical and administrative processes.
  4. Investigate and analyse incidents, errors, or near-misses to identify root causes.
  5. Recommend corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks.
  6. Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  7. Collect and analyse quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  8. Prepare detailed reports on quality performance for management review.
  9. Collaborate with departments to implement innovative solutions for quality enhancement.
  10. Assist in preparations for accreditation and certification processes.
  11. Ensure readiness for internal and external quality audits.
  12. Must be a resident of Warri or its environs

Qualifications and Skills
Education:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management or other Social Sciences-related disciplines
  2. Additional certifications in Quality Management or Patient Safety are an advantage.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality assurance or healthcare management.

Skills:

  1. Knowledge of Quality Assurance Standards
  2. Audit and Reporting
  3. Data Analysis and Interpretation
  4. Process Improvement Techniques
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
