Job Position: Academy Videographer / Photographer
Location: Agege, Lagos

Job Summary

A football academy videographer captures and produces high-quality video content for the academy, documenting player development, matches, and other events, and creating promotional materials.

This role requires strong technical skills in videography and video editing, as well as creativity and storytelling abilities.

The videographer will work closely with coaches, players, and other staff to ensure the content meets the academy’s needs.

Job Responsibilities
Filming:

  1. Capturing video footage of football practices, games, and other academy events often requires adaptability to different shooting environments and conditions.

Video Editing:

  1. Editing footage into polished videos for various platforms, including social media, training resources, and promotional materials.

Content Creation:

  1. Developing creative concepts for video content that showcases the academy’s brand and highlights player achievements.

Collaboration:

  1. Working with coaches, players, and other staff to understand their needs and deliver effective video content.

Equipment Management:

  1. Ensuring all filming and editing equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.

Archiving:

  1. Organising and archiving video footage for future use.

Requirements

  1. Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.

Required Skills:
Technical Proficiency:

  1. Strong understanding of video cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

Creativity and Storytelling:

  1. Ability to develop engaging video concepts and tell compelling stories through visuals.

Attention to Detail:

  1. Ensuring high-quality footage and editing, with careful attention to detail in all aspects of video production.

Adaptability:

  1. Ability to work in various environments and adjust to changing filming conditions.

Communication Skills:

Effective communication with team members to understand their needs and deliver desired results.

Organisational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and organise digital files.
