Job Position: Internal Audit Partner
Location: Lagos

The position

You will conduct assigned operational and IT audit reviews and investigations to assure the Board and Senior Management that those controls are in place, adequate and operating effectively to support the Company in achieving its goals.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct risk assessment and audits of departments/functional areas according to the audit plan.
  2. Timely investigation of all fraud cases, customer complaints, general investigation and any assigned special investigation as may be assigned from time to time.
  3. Provide practical recommendations to management to minimise risk resulting from poor internal controls.
  4. Assure that controls are in place and are effective and adequate, and make recommendations where necessary.
  5. Track the resolution of all audit/control recommendations and ensure compliance within the agreed timeline.
  6. Create and improve a homogeneous Control Culture across all units of the Bank that aligns with the business objectives of the Bank.

Requirements

  1. Required: B.Sc. Degree in any field.
  2. Minimum of 4 years’ experience performing the Internal Control/Audit function.
