Nestoil Plc was incorporated in Nigeria in 1991 for the provision of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services to the energy and oil & gas industry. Since then, Nestoil has grown to become the leading indigenous EPC provider for major IOCs (International Oil Companies) in Sub-Saharan Africa, like National Petroleum Company (NNPC), Shell, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Total, etc.

Job Position: Business Insights and Reporting Analyst
Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Working with stakeholders to understand the business objectives, define metrics, guidelines, and strategies for effective use of data.
  2. Aggregating sets of data to then clean and structure them; delivery and maintenance of high-quality BI Reports and dashboards.
  3. Establishing links between existing and new data sources and identifying relationships that add value.
  4. Assisting in maintaining a scalable BI environment that will support current and future business growth, and future business growth providing monthly security training to all users
  5. Assisting in system implementation and process automation to optimise performance and business insight; continuously improving data collection processes and reporting
  6. Conducting research and making recommendations on data infrastructure, database technologies, analysis, and synthesis tools;
  7. Implementing tools and libraries that will help employees interact more effectively with large amounts of data, analyse data, identify trends and provide actionable insights
  8. Standardising how and where corporate data is created, stored, transported, and shared.
  9. Creating and maintaining the BI documentation, including related data dictionaries, design, logic, flowchart, and user manual
  10. Assist in monitoring and optimising ERP system performance; SAP ByD ERP and SuccessFactors Implementation Project.
  11. Assisting in stakeholder management and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  2. Microsoft Certified PowerBi BI Data Analyst Associate or its equivalent, ITIL v3 Foundation Certification.
  3. 2 to 5 years of working with databases and data analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI, SAP SAC, Tableau, or similar tools.
  4. Prior experience working with Microsoft Power BI, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage)
  5. Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Power BI, DAX, Power Automate, Excel, Macros, and SharePoint.
  6. Intermediate level knowledge in SQL Queries (Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers)
  7. Experience in data management, warehousing, relational databases, designing intuitive dashboards and reports is a huge advantage.
  8. Knowledge in one of the data analysis programming languages (Python, R)
