Job Position: Sales / Business Development Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description
Sales Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for market development and achieving sales targets;
  2. Responsible for market research and demand analysis of the products
  3. Responsible for maintaining daily relationships with new and old customers;
  4. Complete other tasks assigned by the leader.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
Partnership Development:

  1. Identify and approach manufacturers and dealers who align with our e-commerce platform’s product categories and target market.
  2. Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements with potential partners to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  3. Build and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers and dealers to ensure ongoing partnerships.

Market Research:

  1. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers in different industries.
  2. Stay up-to-date with trends in manufacturing, product demand, and market shifts to target the right partners.

Onboarding & Integration:

  1. Facilitate the seamless onboarding of manufacturers and dealers onto the e-commerce platform.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate supplier products, ensuring they are accurately listed, categorised, and promoted.

Sales Growth:

  1. Drive sales by expanding the product range and ensuring a steady supply of high-quality products from various manufacturers.
  2. Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to maximise exposure and sales for new partners.

Performance Monitoring:

  1. Track and analyse the performance of onboarded manufacturers and dealers to ensure they meet sales targets and customer satisfaction.
  2. Provide feedback and support to partners to help them optimise their product listings and sales performance.

Compliance & Quality Control:

  1. Ensure that all products from partnered manufacturers and dealers meet quality, safety, and legal standards required for the platform.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or its equivalent.
  2. More than 3 years of sales experience in Mattress, Pillow, Nail, Iron and cost knowledge;
  3. Strong market development skills and good interpersonal communication skills.
