Job Position: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure smooth operations at all our warehouses
  2. Supervise and lead maintenance staff across all locations to ensure timely execution of tasks and adherence to safety standards
  3. Conduct regular inspections of automobiles and equipment to identify and resolve issues proactively
  4. Manage repair and replacement processes for faulty or outdated machinery and systems
  5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities
  6. Oversee the procurement of maintenance supplies and parts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality
  7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs
  8. Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs and minimise operational disruptions
  9. Develop strategies for energy efficiency and cost savings in facility operations
  10. Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  11. Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
  12. Monitor maintenance budgets and control expenses to ensure efficiency
  13. Manage relationships with external contractors across Nigeria and vendors for specialised maintenance services.

Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. 5+ years in maintenance management of automobiles with a proven track record of managing vehicles and equipment.
  3. Proficiency in maintenance management systems and tools, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.
  4. Proficiency with MS Office.
