Job Position: Admin / HR Officer
Location: Kuje, Abuja

Job Description

The Admin/HR Officer manages employee records, payroll, recruitment, and general office administration.

This role ensures compliance with labor laws and supports staff welfare and performance management.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
  2. Maintain up-to-date staff records and payroll systems.
  3. Ensure labour law and policy compliance.
  4. Manage leave, attendance, and disciplinary processes.
  5. Support administrative tasks across departments.

KPIs

  1. Time to fill vacant roles (days).
  2. Employee turnover rate.
  3. Payroll accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Compliance audit score (% compliance).
  5. Staff satisfaction index (via surveys).

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in HR/Admin, especially in manufacturing, utilities, or water-sector environments.
  3. Proficient with HRIS systems, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  4. Familiarity with Nigerian labour laws and regulatory standards.
  5. Strong organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. High levels of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity.
  8. Self-driven, capable of working independently, and adept at handling stress and competing priorities.

Salary
N100,000 – N130,000 gross monthly.
