Nepal Oil & Gas Services Limited is a fully indigenous player in the downstream, midstream, and upstream sectors of the Nigerian oil and gas industry. Since its inception in 2004, Nepal Energies has navigated the business of trading, supply, and production support in the downstream and midstream sub-sectors of the petroleum industry.

Job Position: Internal Auditor
Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct risk-based audits covering downstream operations, including trading, supply chain, depot, retail outlets, and logistics.
  2. Review financial, operational, and compliance processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.
  3. Assess internal controls around revenue assurance, inventory management, product losses, pricing, and receivables.
  4. Identify process gaps, risks, and fraud vulnerabilities; recommend corrective actions.
  5. Evaluate adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., NMDPRA, PPPRA, DPR, FIRS).
  6. Monitor and report on compliance with HSE standards in business operations.
  7. Prepare clear and concise audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to management.
  8. Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and verify improvements.
  9. Support management in developing policies and procedures to strengthen governance and accountability.
  10. Provide advisory input on risk exposures in new projects, contracts, and partnerships.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  2. Professional certification: ACA/ACCA, CIA or equivalent (mandatory or in progress).
  3. 3 – 5years’ experience in internal audit.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 per month.
