Job Summary
We’re seeking a skilled Social Media Manager who will be responsible for creating engaging content, editing videos, updating our website, and ensuring seamless integration between our website and various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
Job Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Develop and curate high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos) for social media platforms.
- Ensure content aligns with our brand voice and messaging.
Video Editing:
- Produce and edit high-quality video content that tells our brand story and engages our audience.
Website Management:
- Update and maintain our website content to reflect current promotions, events, and organisational news.
- Optimise website performance to enhance user experience and improve search engine rankings.
Social Media Integration:
- Create and manage links between our website and social media platforms, driving traffic and increasing brand visibility.
- Create and schedule posts, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our online community.
Engagement and Community Management:
- Interact with followers across platforms to foster community engagement and build brand loyalty.
- Respond to inquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Hootsuite or HubSpot is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and video editing.
- Proficiency in website management tools and social media analytics.
- Strong communication skills and a creative mindset.
