Job Position: Group Social Media Manager
Location: Lagos

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Group Social Media Manager to oversee and manage the social media presence of our group of companies.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building brand awareness, engaging audiences, and driving measurable growth across all social media platforms.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a group-wide social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
  2. Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, images, video, and campaigns) across multiple platforms.
  3. Monitor, analyse, and report on performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  4. Manage social media advertising campaigns to maximise reach and ROI.
  5. Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all subsidiaries.
  6. Stay up to date with trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, communications, customer service, etc.) to align social media activities with overall goals.
  8. Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
  9. Oversee social media crisis management and reputation handling.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields.
  2. 5–7 years’ proven experience in social media management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  3. Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  4. Experience with paid social advertising, analytics, and social media management tools.
  5. Excellent writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
  6. Creative, innovative, and able to think strategically.
  7. Strong leadership, project management, and organisational skills.
