Work Dey HR Services – Our client, a private residence in Gwarinpa, Abuja, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Residential Chef
Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)

Summary

We are seeking to hire a skilled and experienced Chef to provide daily meals and culinary excellence.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in preparing both local Nigerian dishes and a variety of continental cuisines, with a passion for quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Plan and prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) based on household preferences
  2. Cook a wide range of Nigerian and continental dishes
  3. Ensure high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety
  4. Manage kitchen inventory and procure fresh ingredients
  5. Cater for special occasions and guest entertainment when required
  6. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas

Requirements

  1. Interested candidates should possess an NCE / HND / OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO / Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Chef in a private home, hotel, or restaurant
  3. Expertise in both local and continental cuisines
  4. Ability to plan menus and adapt to dietary needs
  5. Strong organisational and time management skills
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Must be trustworthy, punctual, and respectful
  8. Culinary certification is an added advantage

Work Schedule:

Full-time (Live-in or daily presence, depending on arrangement).

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 monthly.
