Job Position: Warehouse Assistant
Location: Lagos

Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant will support the daily operations of the warehouse by ensuring proper handling, storage, and dispatch of beauty and fragrance products.

The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting in stock control, and ensuring that all materials and finished goods are efficiently managed in line with company standards.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, ingredients, and packaging items.
  2. Properly label and store raw materials and finished products according to company guidelines.
  3. Assist in order picking, packing, and dispatch of goods to ensure timely delivery.
  4. Conduct routine inventory checks and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  5. Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the warehouse environment.
  6. Support stock reconciliation activities and assist in monthly/quarterly stock audits.
  7. Handle materials carefully to prevent damage, contamination, or mix-ups, particularly for fragrance and beauty products.
  8. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in line with manufacturing standards.
  9. Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.
  10. Update warehouse records and documentation using manual or digital systems.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of OND or HND in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG manufacturing environment.
  3. Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.
  4. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  5. Ability to lift, move, and handle goods safely.
  6. Good communication and teamwork skills.
  7. Integrity and reliability in handling company materials and data.
