Job Position: Accountant
Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Maintain accurate books of accounts.
  2. Record all financial transactions (income & expenses).
  3. Reconcile bank statements with company records.
  4. Assist in budget preparation and monitor performance against set budgets.
  5. Prepare cash flow projections and financial forecasts.
  6. Provide advisory on cost control and operational efficiency.
  7. Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in salaries and statutory deductions.
  8. Ensure timely payment of salaries and compliance with financial obligations.
  9. Analyse financial risks, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.

Requirements & Skills

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. 3–5 years of proven accounting experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll systems, and compliance standards.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  5. Assertive, punctual, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
  6. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  7. Ability to implement and optimise financial systems for seamless operations.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 / month.
