Job Position: Talent Acquisition Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Role Overview

  1. The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for leading PalmPay’s recruitment strategy, overseeing full-cycle hiring processes, and ensuring that the company attracts and hires the best talent to support its rapid growth.
  2. This role requires a strategic leader with strong stakeholder management skills, hands-on recruiting expertise, and a proven ability to build scalable, data-driven recruitment practices in a fast-paced fintech environment.
  3. Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with PalmPay’s business objectives and expansion plans.
  4. Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and sourcing specialists to deliver high-quality hires across technical, commercial, and operational functions.
  5. Partner with senior leaders to anticipate talent needs and design tailored workforce planning strategies.
  6. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in all recruitment practices.

Recruitment Operations:

  1. Oversee full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  2. Implement best practices in candidate assessment, ensuring consistency and fairness in hiring decisions.
  3. Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and other external partners.
  4. Drive the use of recruitment technology (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) to optimise hiring processes.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience:

  1. Build and promote PalmPay’s employer brand in local and international markets.
  2. Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  3. Develop recruitment marketing campaigns to attract top talent across different geographies.

Data & Reporting:

  1. Track and analyse key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, etc.) to measure effectiveness and guide decision-making.
  2. Present regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
  3. Continuously improve processes based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  2. 7+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
  3. Proven experience recruiting across multiple functions (technical, commercial, operations) in fintech, banking, or high-growth organisations.
  4. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at the senior leadership level.
  5. Expertise in using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
  6. Demonstrated success in leading recruitment campaigns in multicultural and multi-country settings.
  7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  8. High level of integrity, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
