Job Position: Junior Estate Surveyor
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

The Junior Estate Surveyor will assist in the valuation, management, and development of real estate properties.

The role involves supporting senior surveyors in property inspections, data collection, report preparation, lease administration, and client liaison.

This position is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to build a professional career in estate management and valuation.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist in carrying out property valuations for sales, rentals, mortgages, insurance, and other purposes.
  2. Conduct site inspections and collect relevant property data.
  3. Support in the preparation of valuation, feasibility, and appraisal reports.
  4. Participate in property management activities, including rent collection, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination.
  5. Assist in maintaining accurate property records and documentation.
  6. Conduct market research and analysis on property trends and comparable transactions.
  7. Help prepare tender documents, lease agreements, and other real estate documentation.
  8. Liaise with clients, contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
  10. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior Surveyor or Estate Manager.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Land Economics, or a related field.
  2. Registration with the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board (or in progress).
  3. 0 – 2 years of relevant experience in property valuation or estate management.
  4. Good knowledge of real estate principles and property law.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic property management software.
  6. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  7. Attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
  8. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
