Job Summary
- Responsible for planning and delivering Social Studies lessons.
- Periodical assessment and reporting of learners’ performance
- Ensuring excellent performance of pupils in Social studies and Civic Education
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver quality Social Studies lessons
- Assess, record, and report pupils’ progress
- Prepare pupils for internal and external examinations
- Maintain tidy and orderly classroom
- Attends staff meetings and serve on committees as required
- Any other duties as may be assigned
Job Requirements
Educational and work experience:
- B.Sc / B.Ed. in Social Studies or any other relevant fields
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in teaching
Skills and competence:
- Excellent spoken and writing the English language
- Good communication skills
- Patience and understanding
- Enthusiasm and friendliness
- Time management
