Job Description
We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Representative to manage Balangu Lagos’s online presence.
The ideal candidate will capture engaging content, post regularly across our social platforms, and connect with our online audience to grow visibility and engagement for the brand.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and post daily social media content (photos, videos, stories, reels, etc.) showcasing our grills, customers, and atmosphere.
- Manage the brand’s pages across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
- Respond to DMs, comments, and online inquiries in a friendly and timely manner.
- Work with the on-site team to plan and promote special offers, new menu items, and events.
- Monitor trends and come up with fun, creative ideas for posts.
- Capture behind-the-scenes moments and customer experiences (with consent).
- Track engagement and share weekly performance updates with the team.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with experience.
- Must live in Lagos.
- Passion for food, social media, and storytelling.
- Ability to take good photos/videos using a smartphone.
- Basic understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other major social platforms.
- Creative, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and writing skills (for captions and replies).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends for live coverage.
