Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and diligent Lawyer with 2 years post-call experience to join our legal team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to both litigation and corporate practice, with a strong willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic firm.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist in preparing and handling litigation matters, including legal drafting, court filings, and appearances.
  2. Support senior lawyers in managing corporate and commercial transactions.
  3. Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, agreements, and correspondence.
  4. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategy and advisory work.
  5. Maintain accurate case files, court schedules, and follow up on pending matters.
  6. Communicate professionally with clients, regulators, and other external parties.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 2 years post-call experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  2. Basic understanding of litigation and corporate/commercial law practice.
  3. Strong legal drafting and research skills.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  5. High level of organisation, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  6. Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively with senior team members.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
