Job Position: Accounts Manager
Location: Nigeria (Remote)

Job Description

  1. Manage accounts payable processes for all vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  3. Monitor vendor performance and compliance with financial terms.
  4. Stock count-FG, Paddy, Packing materials, Spares & stores
  5. Stock Reconciliation
  6. Maintenance of Fixed Assets File & Periodic physical verification
  7. Internal control
  8. Month close support activities.

Key Deliverables
Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  1. Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation & Intercompany Reconciliation.
  2. Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to Rice business.

Compliance & Controls:

  1. Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and external regulatory requirements.
  2. Coordinate with internal audit teams and external auditors for financial year-end audits.

Collaboration & Communication:

  1. Work closely with procurement, operations, and sales teams in matters related to Finance.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  2. ACCA, ICAN certification is an advantage
  3. 3 – 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in vendor management.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  5. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  6. Experience in the agricultural or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
