Job Position: Radiographer
Location: Lekki, Island – Lagos

Role Summary

Medbury Healthcare Group is recruiting a qualified and patient-focused Radiographer to support its diagnostic imaging services.

The successful candidate will operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring adherence to radiation safety standards and providing excellent patient care.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Perform X-rays and other diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  2. Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation protection protocols.
  3. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  4. Calibrate, operate, and maintain imaging equipment.
  5. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
  6. Educate and guide patients through the imaging process with professionalism and empathy.
  7. Assist in maintaining department compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

  1. Image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
  2. Patient satisfaction and feedback.
  3. Compliance with safety and quality standards.
  4. Equipment functionality and minimal downtime.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  1. Minimum of a B.Sc. degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  2. Must be registered with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) with a valid practising license.
  3. 1–3 years of post-NYSC experience in a reputable diagnostic or medical facility.

Technical & Functional Skills:

  1. Proficiency in operating X-ray and related imaging equipment.
  2. Good understanding of radiation safety principles.
  3. Strong attention to detail and image quality assessment.
  4. Effective communication and record-keeping skills.

Behavioural Competencies:

  1. Empathetic and patient-centred.
  2. Professional and ethical in conduct.
  3. Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

Salary
N180,000 – N200,000 monthly.
