Job Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic insights to support management decisions.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and reports
  2. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  3. Manage account reconciliations and general ledger accuracy
  4. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory filings
  5. Coordinate internal and external inventory audits
  6. Supervise junior accountants and finance officers
  7. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency
  8. Oversee debt recovery and receivable account systems

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; (MBA is a plus)
  2. ICAN or ACCA certification required
  3. Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience
  4. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax laws, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, ERP)
  5. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  6. Experience in the Pharmaceutical space is an advantage.

Salary
N500,000 – N700,000 monthly
