At Azalea, we offer services in substance use disorder/ addiction rehabilitation and mental health conditions. In addition, we also offer services in trauma and stress-related problems (resulting from sexual abuse, overwhelming emotional distress from loss/ bereavement, etc.), Child & Adolescent mental health, and School mental health. Job Position: Graduate Accountant
Location: Abuja (flexibility to travel to other states on need)
Job Summary
We are seeking a young, motivated, and detail-oriented Accounting Graduate to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will work across our various hospital centres and provide accounting support and temporary cover where needed.
This position is perfect for a recent graduate who is eager to learn, open to feedback, and ready to build a career in healthcare finance in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Management:
- Provide Support for daily accounting operations at assigned hospital centres.
- Assist with recording, posting and reconciling financial transactions.
- Prepare cash flow reports, expense schedules and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor and manage store inventory, including:
- Receiving and issuing items,
- Tracking usage and stock balances,
- Managing reorder levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Provide cover and support for accountants at different centres as needed.
- Help with monthly management reports and audit schedules.
- Assist in monitoring receivables, payables, and petty cash.
- Ensure compliance with Azalea Services’ accounting policies and internal controls.
- Collaborate effectively with the finance team and hospital administrators to ensure accurate reporting and efficient operations
- Assist in managing operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities for the organisation.
- Perform any other duty assigned by your line manager
Qualifications
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (NYSC completed or nearing completion).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
- Basic knowledge of inventory and accounting systems.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Highly teachable, adaptable, and open to constructive feedback.
- Willingness to travel frequently to provide cover at multiple hospital centres.
- Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
