Job Position: Web Developer
Location: Iyana Ipaja, Lagos
Work mode: Hybrid

Job Responsibilities
Full-Stack Web Development:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-centric websites and web applications.
  2. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP).
  3. Build and integrate APIs, databases, and server-side applications.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug to optimise performance and fix bugs.
  5. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into functional features.

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design or a related field
  2. Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow.
  3. Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing tools.
  4. Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
  5. Previous experience in a similar dual role.

Technical Skills:

  1. Certified and proficient in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  2. Experience with backend development using languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP.
  3. Certification and knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
  4. Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Fundamentals)
  5. Agile and Scrum certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster)
  6. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  7. Experience with web hosting platforms and deployment tools.

Soft Skills:

  1. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  2. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  3. Creative thinker with problem-solving capabilities.
  4. Attention to detail and a passion for high-quality work.
