Job Position: Chief Security Officer (CSO)

Job Description

We are seeking a competent and experienced Chief Security Officer (CSO)who fully understands the responsibilities and ethics of the role.

The ideal candidate must have prior experience as a CSO or in a senior security position, with strong knowledge of national security protocols, chain of command, and the operational hierarchy of security agencies within Nigeria.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, and oversee security policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  2. Supervise and coordinate all security personnel and activities across the organisation.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
  4. Liaise with law enforcement, military, and regulatory authorities when necessary.
  5. Manage incident reports and coordinate emergency response when required.
  6. Ensure staff and asset safety through effective monitoring and control measures.
  7. Train and evaluate security staff to maintain discipline and compliance.
  8. Enforce company rules, access control, and visitor management systems.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity in all security operations.

Requirements

  1. Minimum qualification: B.Sc. / HND in Criminology, Security Studies, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Chief Security Officer, Security Coordinator, or similar senior role.
  3. Background in law enforcement, military, or private security management is an advantage.
  4. Deep understanding of **security operations, intelligence gathering, and threat prevention**.
  5. Sound knowledge of **Nigeria’s security structure and hierarchy of officers**.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.
  7. Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 Monthly
