Job Position: Human Resources Executive
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Implement standard recruiting and hiring practices; ensure the recruitment of a superior workforce within a specified time frame
  2. Develop and implement a Performance Management System by carrying out periodic performance appraisals and employee development programs; give recommendations as required
  3. Manage the implementation employee training system/program that addresses the training needs of all staff; conduct orientations, facilitate in-house and external trainings as required, that improve employee productivity
  4. Develop and update policies to promote best practices and behaviour among employees and enhance employees’ productivity; hear and resolve employee grievances: counsel employees and supervisors, and ensure strict adherence to the company’s code of conduct
  5. Support in interpreting and enforcing the company’s culture so that it supports the attainment of the company’s goals and promotes employee satisfaction; carry out periodic surveys to improve methods and stay up to date with information and best practices in Human Capital Management
  6. Minimise risk and protect the interests of employees and the company in accordance with the company’s Human Capital Policies and government laws and regulations
  7. Manage the process of organisational planning that evaluates the company’s structure, job design,
    and personnel
  8. Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements for all positions to meet requirements
    and achieve the objective of the organisation, and regularly update the competency framework
  9. Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; schedule and conduct job evaluations;
    prepare pay budgets; monitor and schedule individual pay actions; and implement pay structure
    Revisions: monitor all pay practices for effectiveness and cost containment
  10. Maintain historical human capital records by designing a filing and retrieval system, keeping past
    and current records
  11. Conduct and analyse exit interviews for retention and improvement purposes; recommend
    changes
  12. Promote effective communication amongst employees within the company

Requirements

  1. Minimum of a First Degree in a related field, professional certifications/memberships are an added advantage
  2. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience working as an HR generalist
  3. Ability to maintain and handle sensitive and confidential information
  4. Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organisational planning,
    organisation development, employee relations, safety, and training and development
  5. Excellent knowledge of payroll
  6. Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
  9. Positive and result-oriented attitude
  10. Commitment to see tasks and activities through to the end
  11. Technology-driven and excellent use of HR software, including MS or
    Google Products
  12. Taking initiative and being focused
