Swift Consulting Limited – Our client in the Logistics Industry is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Transport Manager
Location: Ketu, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage the transport budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  2. Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth logistics support.
  3. Plan, coordinate, and manage daily transport operations.
  4. Supervise drivers and transport staff to ensure punctuality and professionalism.
  5. Develop and implement effective routing strategies to optimise delivery schedules.
  6. Monitor vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, and operating costs.
  7. Ensure compliance with transportation laws, regulations, and company policies.
  8. Prepare and maintain accurate transport-related reports and documentation.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Transport or fleet management.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office and transport management systems is an added advantage.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  6. Good knowledge of route planning, logistics, and vehicle maintenance.
