Overview
Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria was established in 1993 as one of the pioneer Federal Medical Centres in Nigeria. The hospital is located on 58.4 hectares of land and is the only Federal tertiary health facility and referral hospital in Ondo State. The hospital is located in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, which is about 48km from Akure, the state capital. The hospital serves the neighbouring states such as Kogi, Edo and Osun States.
We are on a MISSION to initiate and develop quality service delivery by putting in place necessary infrastructure to be able to deliver effective, efficient and affordable health care services to all our patients; this will be sustained through an effective monitoring and evaluation mechanism and have a VISION to provide qualitative, affordable, accessible health care services to our patients at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels with the ultimate goal of reducing morbidity and mortality among Nigerians’.
Job Position: Intern (Medical Laboratory Science)

Job Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be required to perform medical duties as stipulated by the respective Schemes of Service assigned by their Heads of Departments in various departments in the Hospital and other duties that may be assigned by the Management.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a B.Sc. Degree or equivalent qualifications in their areas of discipline, as well as provisional registration with their Boards, and also show evidence of possession of a current provisional practising license.
Condition of Service
As applicable in other Tertiary Health Institutions in the Country.
