Job Position: Financial Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

About the Role

Cola Solar is seeking a highly skilled Financial Supervisor to support our expanding operations.

The ideal candidate is smart, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of maintaining strong financial controls while ensuring accuracy across all financial activities.

Job Responsibilities
Financial Operations:

  1. Manage accounts payable and receivables efficiently.
  2. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations across all branches and company accounts.
  3. Track, validate, and reconcile sales reports and payments.
  4. Prepare financial summaries and reports for management decision-making.

Banking & Compliance:

  1. Liaise with banks for transfers, deposits, account queries, documentation, and reconciliations.
  2. Interface with government agencies regarding tax, pension, statutory remittances, and compliance requirements.
  3. Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal control frameworks.

Reporting & Documentation:

  1. Maintain complete and audit-ready financial records.
  2. Support both internal and external audits.
  3. Provide timely and accurate financial updates to the Finance Manager and Management Team.

Requirements

  1. Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA is compulsory).
  2. Minimum of 2 years of work experience in accounting or finance roles.
  3. Strong understanding of payables, receivables, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  4. Proficiency with accounting tools/software (Zoho Books, Excel, etc.).
  5. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong organisational abilities.
  6. Ability to work independently with a high sense of integrity and confidentiality.
  7. Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) will be an added advantage, but is not required.
