Job Position: Team Lead, Marketing

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Marketing Sales Lead to join our dynamic marketing team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in executing innovative marketing strategies that drive engagement and enhance brand awareness in designated markets.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement field marketing initiatives that align with our overall business goals.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase sales.
  2. Supervise and motivate the marketing team to ensure an increase in sales and meet their sales target.
  3. Plan, execute, and measure the success of the marketing department.
  4. Follow up and reconnect with former customers.
  5. Take full responsibility for the success or failure of the department.
  6. Develop and maintain the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels to ensure each marketer meets their target
  7. Conduct market research and analyze data to inform marketing strategies, identify market trends, and assess effectiveness.
  8. Ensure departmental sales targets are met, which is the sum of all the BDE sales targets.
  9. Track and report on marketing metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates.
  10. Any other activities that will increase sales
  11. You will develop Marketing policies governing the department.
  12. You are expected to maintain an appearance that is business-like as determined by the company’s dress code.
  13. The Management has zero tolerance for lateness to work.

Requirements

  1.  HND / BSc in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in marketing, preferably in field marketing, especially in the Freight and Logistics industry.
  3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships.
  5. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, understand their needs, and provide solutions.
  6. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and convert them to customers,
  7. Ability to negotiate deals and close sales effectively.
  8. Ability to manage the marketing team effectively, prioritise tasks, to meet sales targets.
  9. Customer-Centric Approach: Focus on understanding customer needs and providing solutions that meet their requirements.
  10. Data-Driven Insights: Ability to collect and analyse data to inform sales strategies and improve performance.
  11. Ability to mobilise the marketing team, plan, and execute sales strategies.
  12. Ability to formulate strategies that will enhance sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  13. Must be Proactive and result-oriented.
  14. MSc/MBA is an added advantage.
