Location: Lagos

Job Summary

The Executive Assistant to the CEO will provide high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to ensure the CEO’s office runs efficiently.

This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, discretion, and the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate the CEO’s needs.

Job Responsibilities
Administrative Support:

  1. Manage the CEO’s calendar, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  2. Prepare and organise reports, presentations, documents, and correspondence.
  3. Coordinate internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.
  4. Maintain and update confidential files, records, and databases.

Operational & Strategic Support:

  1. Assist with project coordination, follow-ups, and execution of strategic initiatives.
  2. Conduct research, gather data, and prepare briefing materials for key meetings.
  3. Act as the first point of contact between the CEO and stakeholders (staff, clients, partners).
  4. Support the CEO in prioritising tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.

Communication & Relationship Management:

  1. Draft, review, and manage emails and communications on behalf of the CEO.
  2. Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Facilitate effective communication between the CEO and departments.

Office & Logistics Support:

  1. Ensure smooth daily operations of the CEO’s office.
  2. Handle expenses, reimbursements, and basic financial tracking for the CEO.
  3. Support planning and execution of company events, meetings, and engagements.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Officer, or similar role.
  3. Experience supporting senior leadership is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Strong organisational and project-management skills.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital productivity tools.
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  5. High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
