Job Description
A Project Manager (PM)plans, executes, and finalises projects, ensuring they meet goals on time and within budget by defining scope, managing resources (people, budget, time), leading teams, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and communicating with stakeholders across industries like IT, construction, or marketing. Key duties include defining objectives, scheduling, overseeing budgets, coordinating teams, managing changes, ensuring quality, and reporting results.
Job Responsibilities
- Planning & Definition: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and create detailed plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Team Leadership: Assemble, lead, motivate, and direct project teams, allocating tasks and resources.
- Execution & Monitoring: Oversee daily project activities, track progress, manage timelines, and resolve roadblocks.
- Risk & Quality Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Keep clients, leadership, and teams informed through regular updates and reports.
- Budget & Resource Control: Manage project finances and resources efficiently.
- Closure: Evaluate project outcomes and ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND qualification, a Bachelor’s or a Master’s Degree.
- 4 – 5 years relevant work experience.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
- Often requires a bachelor’s degree and relevant experience.
- Certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) are common.
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly
