Job Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Lagos (with nationwide travel)

Job Summary

As the Business Development Manager (Nigeria), you will be responsible for identifying and developing profitable business opportunities to grow the company’s existing sales and distribution channels.

You will drive market expansion by executing strategic business plans, strengthening distributor partnerships, and promoting advanced fire suppression technologies to key industry stakeholders, influencers, and end users across Nigeria.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute an annual business plan, identifying key objectives, opportunities, and setting sales targets
  2. Collaborate with local partners and distributors to prospect and acquire new clients, fostering a robust pipeline for sustainable business growth
  3. Cultivate and nurture exceptional client relationships, ensuring satisfaction among partners and stakeholders
  4. Travel extensively across the territory to lead sales meetings and deliver presentations aimed at securing business opportunities
  5. Deliver commercial and technical training and support to distributors, consulting engineers, and key accounts to ensure a strong understanding of the technology
  6. Actively participate in trade shows and industry conferences to expand professional networks and develop new business opportunities.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical; MBA is an added advantage
  2. Minimum of 10 years experience in sales or business development within the fire alarm and suppression industry
  3. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, sales, marketing, and business development
  4. Native proficiency in local languages with fluent spoken and written English
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Strong business acumen and commercial insight.

Salary
EUR 1,800 – 2,000 Monthly.
