Job Position: Accountant
Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.

The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of cost accounting, and the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage and record all daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, inventory, and expenses.
  2. Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  3. Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
  4. Maintain inventory accounting and ensure accurate stock valuation in coordination with warehouse and supply chain teams..
  5. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  6. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks as required.
  7. Support internal controls, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
  8. Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis for management decision-making.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
  3. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and taxation.
  4. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or industry-specific ERP systems).
  5. Excellent Excel skills and experience with financial modelling.
  6. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to a dynamic, high-volume environment.
  8. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 / month
