Job Position: Frontend Engineer
Location: Lagos

Job Summary

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for translating UI/UX designs into interactive and responsive web applications.

You will work closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to create user-friendly digital experiences that align with our goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop new user-facing features with clean, maintainable code.
  2. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  3. Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  4. Collaborate with backend developers and web designers to improve usability.
  5. Maintain and improve website performance and accessibility.
  6. Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  7. Ensure consistency in UI/UX design while optimising for performance across devices and browsers.
  8. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  9. Ensure consistent branding and design across all platforms.
  10. Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve user experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4–6 years of front-end development experience.
  2. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+).
  3. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
  4. Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
  5. Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
  6. Strong experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
  7. Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and tools like Figma, Adobe XD.
  8. Familiarity with CSS preprocessors and utility-first frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS).
  9. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
