Job Position: IT Infrastructure Manager
Location: Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee and maintain our organisation’s IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our network, servers, and other critical IT systems.

This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage IT infrastructure projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  2. Guide and support a team of IT professionals to achieve departmental goals.
  3. Resolve IT infrastructure issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  4. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT infrastructure processes and procedures.
  5. Oversee servers, networks, storage, and cloud services to ensure seamless operations.
  6. Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data through robust security protocols.
  7. Keep abreast of the latest IT trends and technologies to drive innovation.
  8. Handle vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms for the company.
  9. Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience (3+ years) in IT infrastructure management.
  3. Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  4. In-depth understanding of security protocols and best practices.
  5. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
  6. Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and mentor a team effectively.
  7. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  8. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.

Salary
N500,000 Monthly.
