Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative and results-driven professional who understands both sides of social media growth: scroll-stopping video content and strategic social media management.
This role sits at the intersection of creative editing and performance marketing.
- You will work primarily with short-form video content, transforming raw footage into polished, on-brand content that drives engagement, growth, and results.
- Most footage will be provided by clients or creators—your responsibility is to turn it into high-performing content that converts attention into engagement.
- This is a performance-driven role with exciting opportunities for growth and rewards.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, and similar formats) using trending styles, sounds, and transitions
- Manage and grow client social media accounts across Instagram, TikTok, and relevant platforms
- Plan and schedule content calendars aligned with client goals and platform trends
- Write engaging captions, hooks, and calls-to-action (CTAs)
- Support community engagement when required
- Track and analyse performance metrics (views, reach, saves, shares, engagement) and optimise content accordingly
- Identify trends early and pitch creative ideas to leverage them
- Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to maintain brand consistency
- Ensure all content is polished, on-brand, and results-focused
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in video editing and social media management
- University degree or accredited professional qualification
- Strong expertise in editing short-form content for Reels and TikTok
- Deep understanding of content virality and audience engagement
- Proven experience growing social media accounts and building engaged communities
- Highly organised and comfortable managing accounts remotely
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality, travel, and lifestyle social media space
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and performance-focused
We’d Love to Hear From You If You:
- Have edited content that has gone viral or reached large audiences
- Are confident using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools
- Can demonstrate real results (growth, engagement, performance metrics)
- Live and breathe TikTok and Instagram and understand why content works
- Are equally comfortable editing videos and managing social media strategy
