Survive Fistula Healthcare Foundation (SFHF) is a non-governmental organization created to support the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) rights and needs of women, girls, and families with a special focus on Fistula Prevention, Mobilization, Treatment, Rehabilitation, and Reintegration. SFHF was formed and commenced interventions in 2016, and fully incorporated in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2018. As a health development-oriented organization, SFHF is duly registered and captured on the database of the Federal Ministry of Health

Job Description
- The Program Assistant will provide administrative, monitoring, and reporting support to ensure successful implementation of all program activities in all assigned projects of Survive Fistula Healthcare Foundation. He/She works closely with colleagues across the projects and communicates information from the Coordination team to all staff in various parts of the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Program Operations:
- Works closely with the coordination team in the general administrative support of all SFHF projects.
- Maintains calendar of project activities by managing project activity quick list and monthly activity plans according to project log frames, to ensure full and timely implementation of all program activities by the technical staff.
- Assists with scheduling and provide logistical assistance in the execution of SFHF team meetings, including quarterly staff meetings, and other meetings as required.
- Prepares agenda, takes meeting notes, assists with preparation of Project’s presentations.
- Assists in the orientation of new staff, interns, research fellows, and consultants by providing them with the necessary documents and materials for orientation; and
- Supports the program team planning implementation of program activities which may include:
- Communication to stakeholders and participants;
- Support production of visibility items, if needed;
- Provide support with procurement documents (requisition forms, etc.);
- Follows up with the technical program staff on the development and timely submission of all program activity reports.
- Collation and filing of all project activity reports.
- Supports branding for both the office and staff, ensuring compliance to existing SOPs.
- Facilitates the development and collation of quarterly and annual project reports by the program technical staff and submits to the coordination team for final review and sharing with the donors and others.
- Drafts routine correspondence to partners and collaborators (greetings, thank you letters etc.)
- Ensures that the SFHF printed materials is adequately stocked and that the most recent and up-to-date versions of all materials are available in soft and hard copies.
- Works with the ICT team or vendor of SFHF for management of the organization website, including the review and update of the website content with the consent of the project management team.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting:
- Collects data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.
- Checks data quality with partners.
- Maintains and administers the M&E database; analyses and aggregates findings.
- Supports project progress reporting, project mid-term review and final evaluation.
- Identifies areas where technical support to project partners is required. Organizes refresher training on M&E for partners as required.
- Identify lessons learned and develop case studies to capture qualitative outputs of the project. Provides advice to the supervisor on improving project performance using M&E findings.
- Produces reports on M&E findings and prepares presentations based on M&E data as required.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Statistics, Social Sciences, Health, Business Management, or other relevant fields.
- 3 years experience working in development and/or humanitarian programs, handling M&E, correspondence, and project reporting duties.
- International Organization or other NGO experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in report writing is key.
Knowledge/Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of computer application, the internet, website, and other essential computer software is essential
- Excellent coordination skills, time management, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Ability to work in stressful environments driven by strict deadlines
- Communication skills in English are very important.
- Fluency in Hausa is an advantage
- Ability to travel when required.
- Multitasking- be able to handle multiple totally different tasks simultaneously.
- Team work- ability to work collaboratively.
Proposed Salary:
N1,200,000 per annum.
