Taghini Foods is a traditional poultry processing Company based in Ibadan. We supply fresh and frozen poultry products to wholesalers, caterers and further processors, including products suitable for Halal customers.

Job Position: Account Clerk

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

  1. Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  2. Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  3. General ledger postings and statements
  4. Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  5. Receive company purchased items and store management
  6. Imprest disbursement and management
  7. Daily enter key data of financial transactions in daily record
  8. Provide assistance and support to company personnel
  9. Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  10. Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  11. Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of OND in Accounting, Economics, or related field. No experience in needed
  2. Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk
  3. Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  4. Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
  5. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  6. Accuracy and attention to detail
  7. Aptitude for numbers
  8. Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
  9. Data entry and word processing skills
  10. Well organized
