Job Description

- The role of an Account Executive (AE) is to build relationships with new clients and manage relationships with existing ones. To put our products and solutions into the hands of consumers worldwide, we need a professional who knows how to connect. We are currently looking for an Account Executive to be the leading force that fuels our growing client relationships in the Nigerian and African market.
- The ideal person will have proven experience building on existing relationships, creating new ones, eliminating competitor threats within our customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- The Account Executive will be a proactive and curious member of our sales team, identifying growth opportunities for clients before a need or gap has been stated.
- This level of foresight and meticulous analysis is what will take our company confidently into the future.
Job Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients and partners by understanding their focus and anticipating their needs
- Presenting and demonstrating products and services to prospective clients
- Acquiring more clients through prospecting and canvassing e.g networking and cold calling.
- Coordinating internal tasks related to accounts to ensure clients receive products and services
- Assisting new clients through processes relating to the products and services to ensure seamless experience
- Coordinating internal and external resources to expedite workflow
- Staying current with company offerings and industry trends
- Creating detailed business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas
- Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into long-term partnerships
- Remaining in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs
- Negotiating agreements, keeping records of sales and data and maintaining a database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors
- Following up with clients regularly to ensure needs are being met and to identify opportunities.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc or BA in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing or other related field.
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
- Outstanding knowledge of google workspace; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Hubspot) is a plus
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- A business acumen
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new ones.
