Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be responsible for supporting daily financial operations, including preparing bank reconciliation statements, managing accounts payable/receivable, and maintaining financial records.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and interpret bank reconciliation statements on a regular basis to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Process and track invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
- First Degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
