Job Position: Corporate Sales Account Manager

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Objective

  • Manage portfolios, oversee sales performances, analyze sales numbers and put sales strategies into practice to make improvements as well as achieve revenue targets via account management

Job Responsibilities

  1. Planning and organizing sales visits
  2. Presenting products and service offerings to the corporate clients
  3. Establishing new business leads and closing new accounts
  4. Ensuring monthly Target of sales budgets and number of new accounts are met.
  5. Attends trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings to broker deals and close sales
  6. Coordinate and close accounts of SME’s
  7. Work to achieve monthly or annual targets
  8. Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities
  9. Research and analyze tools to enhance DIY by corporates
  10. Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
  11. Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products
  12. Collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales reports
  13. Build and maintain professional networks
  14. Meet with potential clients to determine their needs
  15. Track sales trends of Corporates and provide feedback on improving conversions
  16. Generate weekly and monthly sales report of portfolio account.
  17. Organize forums to build networking
  18. Ensure SLA’s are adhered to on the side of corporates and operations team
  19. Ensure invoice are sent as per SLA and track payments by corporates

Job Requirements

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
  2. Well developed lateral and analytical thinking skills
  3. Must have 3-5 years of job-related experience required
  4. Essential excellent project management skills; able to deliver tasks within tight deadlines
  5. Strong consultancy skills; able to identify underlying issues to business/ people problems
  6. Creative and innovative; able to design new and effective solutions
  7. Resilient and tenacious; able to pursue goals despite obstacles
  8. Excellent communication skills with ability to convert into sales
  9. Skilled in product research and development
  10. Managerial skills – Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills
