Job Position: Account officer

Job Location: Lagos Island, Lagos

Job Description

  • Seeking to fill the position of an Account Officer in the Transportation Sector, providing transportation services for inter and intra-state travelers in Nigeria. He/she will be responsible for the overall management of the company’s account records.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for keeping accounting records for branches.
  2. Responsible for expenditure, budget allocation, and funds management.
  3. Maintaining ledger accounts
  4. Confirm that branch remittances are credited to bank accounts and investigate discrepances.
  5. Prepare and monitor repayment schedule for all receivables.
  6. Preparations of payment vouchers and maintaining a subsidiary ledger for purchases/VAT.
  7. Preparation of branch performance report.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of HND / B.Sc in Accounting
  2. Minimum of 1 year work experience in relevant field.
  3. Experience in the use of accounting software.
  4. Professional Qualification in Accounting will be an added advantage.
  5. Profiicient in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary
N70,000 / month.
