Job Location: Ikeja, Anthony Village – Lagos
Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled Finance and Accounts Officer responsible for managing the company’s financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, providing financial reports, and analysis.
- Ensuring that the company’s finances are managed effectively and supporting operational and financial decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Prepare and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and other accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial transactions to optimize working capital.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting, and Finance
- 1 – 3 years relevant work experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Also an ICAN Membership is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel )
- Basic knowledge of product costing.
- Sound inventory management. o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting in a manufacturing company.
- Strong calculations skills and in-depth proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple financial tasks with attention to detail. o Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
- Personal Attributes: Integrity, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
