Job Position: Account Reconciliation Officer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Reconcile inflow and outflow transactions in transit and suspense accounts Etranzact transactions
  2. Ensure timely reconciliation and address outstanding items promptly.
  3. Ensure reconciliation without impacting income.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Reconcile NIP, Remita, Etranzact transactions.
  2. Match Remita, and Etranzact reports with transaction files.
  3. Handle transit and suspense accounts, ensuring daily clearance.
  4. Daily balance incoming and outgoing files.
  5. Post entries to relevant Expense or Revenue accounts daily.
  6. Address unmatched and outstanding items by generating queries to applicable units/branches.
  7. Thoroughly investigate exceptions with diligence and accuracy.
  8. Manage refund and recovery processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
  9. Maintain well-organized files.
  10. Submit reconciliation reports like daily, monthly proof of accounts, and weekly reports to the team MIS officer promptly.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum of B.Sc with a Second Class Lower Division.
  2. Must have completed NYSC
  3. Must reside around Ikeja and its Enviros.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Problem-solving abilities.
  6. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.

Salary
N50,000 – N100,000 / month.
