Job Position: Key Account Officer / Account Sales Officer

Job Description

  1. Reporting to the Modern Trade Manager, the Key Account Officer/Account Sales Officer’s (ASO) primary function is to perform outside sales of product inventory while driving an assigned route of accounts.
  2. You will increase product sales and placement of product displays at all large and small format “off premise” stores.
  3. You will upsell inventory, cooler space, and product displays.
  4. The primary role of the ASO is to service all customers in a safe and productive manner, according to our Amber executional standards.

Job Responsibilities
Management/Sales:

  1. Manage products and relationships with the customer contacts for sale of our products at assigned accounts (Outlets)
  2. Determine current and ongoing product needs at accounts and look for ways to increase sales
  3. Ensure that all Amber equipment is clean and in good working order
  4. Ensure all assigned account maintain a safe and approved credit limits
  5. Perform outside sales functions
  6. Other tasks as assigned.

Execution:

  1. Evaluate all competitors’ activities such as new launches and price reductions
  2. Meet monthly goals focused on the following areas: sales, distribution, pricing, display, new account set up, and other merchandising components
  3. Build and protect the Amber brand through proper rotation to ensure fresh product while setting proper brand flow following Amber standards
  4. Increase inventory and diversity of products at each assigned account and improve in-store branding while delivering fresh product.

Building Success:

  1. Work collaboratively across the organization and share best practices.
  2. Be a major contributor/ leader among peer group.
  3. Maintain the relationship with customer contacts at each assigned account
  4. Lead and manage Merchandisers across assigned accounts.

Job Requirements

  1. Education: Minimum of HND / BSc.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years minimum in Sales and marketing positions
  3. Must be able to drive with a valid driver’s license.
  4. Must be able to operate a Smart Phone
  5. Basic knowledge in MS office suite Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  6. Well-networked, have established contacts in the night scene
  7. Experience in the beverage industry, entertainment and/or events, hospitality and catering would be an added advantage
  8. Flexibility and independence, no two days and, more importantly, no two nights are the same.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to craft and deliver the right message, to the right people, at the right time.
  10. Strong understanding of sales processes, strategic and innovative commercial awareness, and planning and negotiation skill.
