Job Description
- This role is positively challenging and will provide growth to the prospective role holder.
- The ideal role holder is a progressive Finance professional who is intelligent, has a strong interest in deploying accounting solutions, and can work in a fast-paced environment. He/she must be competent in all basic Accounting functions and will be required to perform duties according to best practices.
- Most importantly, in line with our client’s standard, he/she should be committed, hard-working, and particular about delivering quality work.
Job Responsibilities
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are properly and timely recorded
- Update accounts receivable and accounts payable accordingly
- Share responsibility for overseeing the accounts reconciliations and inventory management processes.
- Co-champion the preparation and processing of balance sheets, payroll, income statements, and other financial statements
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Collaborate with the tax consultant and external auditors to ensure the company adheres to all its statutory obligations
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Draft other relevant periodic reports on the financial status of the company
- Identify trends and recommend actions based on sound analysis
- Liaise with the Consultants to provide advisory services such as business valuation, budget preparation, template design, accounting framework, and setup
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legal requirements
- Other related tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on Finance experience
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
- A member of a professional body e.g. ACA, ACCA, (Part or Fully Qualified) is a ‘nice to have
- Proven knowledge in bookkeeping, financial reporting, financial management, financial software, and Microsoft suite
- Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills
- Good attention to details
- Highly confidential with good integrity
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and result-oriented environment
- Ability to work in a team and multitask
- Client relationship and engagement skills
- Tech savvy; good use of collaboration tools such as Slack

How We Hire
Preliminary Chat:
- If we think you are a good fit based on your application, we will schedule a 30-45-minute chat with you, our People Operations team and hiring managers. This is basically a get-to-know-you chat for us to hear about you experiences and to confirm that the role is a good fit for you, as well as if you are a good fit for us.
Recruitment Exercise:
- Thereafter, a recruitment exercise will be sent to you to further assess your technical competence for the role.
Second Interview:
- Then we will schedule a final interview with you to meet with one of our Principal Consultants, to give you a realistic preview of the role and discuss expectations.
Final Interview:
- Upon mutual alignment, you will meet with our client for final discussions before an offer is extended.
- We will ensure to give you an update within two weeks after each stage.
