Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the duties of the accounting team.
  2. Implement accounting systems and processes.
  3. Reconcile income statements.
  4. Prepare monthly financial reports.
  5. Control the master data of the general register.
  6. Review and release online banking payments.
  7. Ensure compliance with state revenue service.
  8. Provide ongoing accounting and reporting support.
  9. Manage the full financial process.
  10. Prepare an expense budget report.
  11. Assessing financial risks and suggesting preventive measures
  12. Ensuring complete compliance with the state authorities
  13. Investigating and rectifying any financial discrepancies
  14. Conducting internal and external audits.
  15. Analyzing the company’s financial systems and procedures
  16. Processing online payments and bank statements
  17. Preparing and forecasting budget reports
  18. Negotiating monetary terms with vendors
  19. Providing assistance with tax planning

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5-8 years of experience working as an accountant.
  • Must be ICAN certified.
  • Experience in providing financial advice.
  • Must be honest
  • Must be detail-oriented.
