Job Position: Accountant
Location: Abuja

Job Summary

We are looking for a committed accounting professional to oversee bookkeeping, financial and accounting reports.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
  2. Lead the implementation and use of ERP/accounting software
  3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  4. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasting
  5. Ensure statutory compliance with FIRS, VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory requirements
  6. Oversee bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and inventory cost accounting
  7. Lead finance-related audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants
  8. Provide financial insight and strategic recommendations to management

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accountancy, or Banking & Finance (essential)
  2. ICAN, ACCA, or similar professional certification (added advantage)
  3. Minimum of 3 to 5 years post-NYSC work experience in a similar accounting role
  4. Strong experience with ERP systems and modern accounting tools
  5. Excellent knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations
  6. Proven experience managing financial processes in an e-commerce and retail environment (added advantage)
  7. Must be able to use Microsoft Excel at a professional or advanced level.
