Job Position: Accountant
Location: Iddo, Lagos

Job Description 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, including: Accounts Receivable Management; Accounts Payable

Management; Payroll Processing; Cash Administration; Non-Current Assets

Management; Accounts Maintenance and Vouchering; Bank Reconciliation and Statement Audit; etc.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Handle day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
  2. Administers payment transfers through the bank.
  3. Manage cash advances and reconcile retirements.
  4. Prepare and audit bank reconciliation statements for all corporate accounts.
  5. Maintain the non-current Assets Register and process depreciation, additions and disposals.
  6. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss reports, and other management reports.
  7. Ensure accuracy of accounting entries and compliance with internal controls.
  8. Review purchase orders and payment vouchers for jobs executed by the company.
  9. Prepare reports on receivables ageing and advise management on follow-up actions
  10. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
  11. Prepare special financial reports as required by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related field.
  2. Professional certification (ACA) is an added advantage.
  3. Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  4. Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Salary
N500,000 – N800,000 monthly.
