Job Description
- We are looking to hire an experienced Accountant who will assist in running the company’s accounting operations.
- You will be required to regulate and authenticate financial transactions moved from junior accountant and ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks.
- You are also responsible for the balancing accounts, and should have sound analytical and advanced skills using Microsoft Excel. Additionally, you will need a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures, including preparing month-end reports.
Job Responsibilities
- Support financial & management reports preparation
- Preparation of bank reconciliation and supporting schedules for management accounts
- General Ledger supervision
- Guide and manage junior accountants and other staff by answering questions and solving queries
- Create and analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation
- Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
- Ensure compliance of internal controls and suggest process improvements as needed
- Work with external auditors to perform the annual audits for all our jurisdictions
- Good knowledge of ERP
